Thanks to all who made it out to The Middle East for the Explosions & Batteries CD release show, it was truly a magical evening. All the bands (Red Wire Black Wire, Violent Kin, and Lagoon) were brilliant and the crowd was electric -- it was as if Explosions and Batteries came kicking and screaming into a world surrounded by passionate friends and family.

In his copious free time, John wrote a little bit of code to turn a Wii remote, nunchuk and a Mac into a rocking powerhouse of live drums. And released the source code if you're geeky enough to want to try it for yourself, or make it even better.
Get excited. DrumChuk is certain to figure into the live set at the CD Release Party at the Middle East Upstairs on July 6.
